On November 16, 1998, PPL Electric Utilities offered to sell capacity and/or energy to PPL EnergyPlus Co., an affiliate of PPL that engages in the sales or transmission of electric energy at retail as an electric generation supplier (EGS) in Pennsylvania. This offer consists of a one-year offer to supply the capacity and energy requirements of an EGS in Pennsylvania as detailed in the offer. The terms and conditions of the offer, including pricing, are set forth in the proposed Agreement.
