Authorization Checklist
All authorizations for PPL Electric Utilities to release customer information must:
- list companies or individuals who are authorized to receive the information.
- specify where PPL Electric Utilities shall send the information; i.e, the authorized recipients’ mailing address, e-mail address or fax number.
- include an expiration date. (A release with no expiration date will be considered a one-time authorization. PPL Electric Utilities will respond to such authorizations only once.)
- list customer account numbers in body of the letter, or on a signed separate attachment.
- be signed by the customer, with the individual’s printed name and title.
- be delivered to PPL Electric Utilities in original form.

Charge For Filing an Authorization:
Registration fee for third party authorization is $5.00 per account, includes one history or billing statement per account.
