The Electronic Link

The customer provides a personal computer with a modem and access to the Internal. In addition the customer provides a phone line to the meter. PPL Electric Utilities will provide PC software and access to the customer's meter through a modem. This equipment serves as an electronic link for reading the customer's meter remotely and transmitting that data along with prices to the customer.

It is the customer's responsibility to retrieve the prices for the following day and to inform PPL Electric Utilities if prices have not been received.
