National Electrical Code - 1996 Handbook

This book is a guide to safeguard persons from hazards occurring in the installation, operation or maintenance of conductors and equipment in electrical supply stations and overhead or underground supply lines. Also included are work rules for construction, maintenance and operation of electric supply and communication lines. The NEC establishes minimum requirements for system grounding and wiring for different types of installations. The NEC is the law in several of the United States where adopted by governing bodies.
