PPL Electric Utilities Announces E-power Webinars for Business Customers PPL Electric Utilities’ business customers are being invited to take advantage of E-power, one of the most beneficial energy-saving initiatives we have ever offered. Businesses can save energy and money with our unprecedented package of tools, incentives and rebates that could have a positive impact on your company’s bottom line. PPL Electric Utilities will hold a series of webinars in June to help business customers learn more about the full suite of E-power programs and determine which programs are right for your business. Each webinar will last approximately one hour, with about 20 minutes focused on the programs and the remainder of the time focused on answering your questions. We encourage you to participate in the webinar to learn more about the following programs: Energy Efficiency Rebates
Using energy-efficient lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, office equipment, insulation products and appliances is a great way to achieve dramatic and long-term reductions in electricity use. The E-power Energy Efficiency Rebate Program helps decrease the cost of these investments by offering rebates to customers who purchase and install energy-efficient equipment and products. Most rebates are retroactive to July 1, 2009. The webinar will cover the current list of eligible measures and help you understand the rebate application process. Custom Incentive
The E-power Custom Incentive Program offers funding for energy efficiency projects, retro-commissioning and equipment optimization that result in cost-effective, measurable electrical energy savings that aren’t covered under other E-power programs. The program offers an incentive of $0.10 per kilowatt hour reduced based on the approved predicted average annual savings for one year of the project. The webinar will cover how businesses also may qualify for 50 percent reimbursement of the cost of their technical study, and additional reimbursement opportunities following successful implementation of the recommended projects. HVAC Tune-Up
Properly tuning and optimizing HVAC systems for energy efficiency can lead to significant savings. This program goes beyond routine maintenance and uses trained technicians with advanced diagnostic tools to perform complex tests, repairs and system adjustments that are independently analyzed and verified. The webinar will cover the benefits of this type of tune up and let you know how to find a trained technician.
