As the Public Utility Commission review process moves forward, PPL Electric Utilities has filed additional documents with the Administrative Law Judge supporting the chosen route and substation as the best alternative to provide area electric customers with safe and reliable electric service.
The chosen route and substation are needed to serve growing electric demand, PPL said in the filing. The chosen route and substation will have the least impact on electric rates, will have the fewest social impacts, and will provide safer and more reliable service than the other alternatives.
