We appreciate your business. Whether you’re a new customer or returning customer to PPL, we want to activate your service as quickly and conveniently as possible. We can start service in your name effective as soon as the next business day. Depending on past credit history, a security deposit may be added to your account. Please note next day service may not be available for new homes due to installation or inspection requirements.
If the power to this address is currently off, please call us toll-free at 1-800-DIAL-PPL (1-800-342-5775) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to speak with a representative to get your power turned on.

Stop or Disconnect existing service
Are you moving and need to shut off your electricity? We're sorry to see you leave, but enjoyed the opportunity to serve you.
We can stop billing you for this service as soon as the next business day. If you are moving to another location in PPL’s territory and want to start service at your new address, please use the Transfer Service Form.
If you have paid a security deposit with PPL and the deposit has not already been returned to you, the deposit plus the interest you have earned will be applied to your final bill. We will also apply any credit balance you may have on your account. Any refund will be mailed to your forwarding address.

Transfer existing service
We appreciate your business and we want to transfer your service as quickly and conveniently as possible.
We can transfer the service in your name from your current address to your new address effective as soon as the next business day.
