PPL Electric Utilities is currently offering a time-of-use option. The option may provide government and small-business customers with an opportunity to save money by using less electricity at times of peak demand.

The time-of-use summer season begins June 1 and ends September 30.  The time-of-use winter season begins October 1 and ends May 31 of the following year.  The peak hours for business customers (GS rate) remain constant throughout the year, or 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.  It’s important that you review your usage patterns to determine if you can continue to benefit from the time-of-use plan.
