The E-power Efficient Equipment Rebate Program offers a wide range of rebates on specific products and equipment to help you save energy, but they don't cover everything. The Custom Incentive Program provides financial incentives for extensive energy efficiency projects, retro-commissioning and equipment optimization that result in cost-effective, measurable electrical energy savings but are not covered by other PPL Electric Utilities energy efficiency programs.
The Custom Incentive component of the program offers an incentive of $0.10 per kilowatt hour reduced. Under the Technical Study component of the program, you may also qualify for 50 percent reimbursement of the study's cost, with possible additional reimbursement following successful implementation of recommended projects. To qualify, measures and technical studies must meet PPL Electric Utilities' cost-effectiveness threshold and technical criteria. Incentives will be subject to an annual cap for each project and for each participating customer.
The Custom Incentive Program is quickly reaching capacity for the Large C&I Sector. Customers are encouraged to submit project reservations or applications as soon as possible to be placed on a wait list. As funds become available, wait-listed projects will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applications must have a financial commitment for consideration. PPL Electric Utilities will accept a signed contract, project equipment purchase order or binding proposal acceptance.
