The E-power Demand Response program will pay your company to decrease electricity use during peak hours of the 2012 summer season.
PPL Electric Utilities has hired EnerNOC to administer this program. EnerNOC will work with you to design a customized electricity reduction strategy based on your company's equipment and operations. Common curtailment strategies include reductions in lighting, manufacturing processes, HVAC equipment, pumps and the use of backup generation.
EnerNOC will install any necessary equipment at your site and perform any testing necessary to ensure curtailment ability, at no cost to you.
You will be expected to shift or eliminate load to reduce your use when notified by PPL Electric Utilities and your business will receive payments based on the amount of electricity and number of hours you can reduce throughout the summer.
