Think! Energy with e-power Take Action in-school program

What: A 45-60 minute interactive, hands-on presentation with a take home energy efficiency kit for each participating student and teacher.  The program teaches the importance of energy, natural resources and environmental issues, AND gives each participating student’s family energy efficient technologies to install at home. The program is easy to implement and also reinforces learning requirements with relevant content and inquiry based activities. Teachers receive a selection of supplemental instructional materials and optional activities (all correlated to PA learning standards) that may be used in addition to the presentation.

When: All sessions will take place during the month of October 2009

Location: Your school

Grades:  a selected grade level within your school - 5th or 6th or 7th

Cost: The presentation and all materials are free.
