At Your Service

Choosing Your Supplier

In Pennsylvania, consumers may choose the company that generates the electricity they use.

You may choose an electric generation supplier based on price, special services or other factors that are important to you.

You may save money.

Whether or not you choose a new supplier, you can count on PPL Electric Utilities to continue delivering safe, reliable electric service.

The key to shopping is knowing your price to compare — the price you pay us for generation and transmission if you don't choose another generation supplier.

Our prices are based on market information and represent the price to compare for the indicated time period.

PPL Electric Utilities also offers a time-of-use rate  that provides customers with another option to purchase electricity. It is priced different based on market prices for peak and off-peak hours of the day, so it is suitable only for those customers who can adjust when they use most electricity.
