Specific practices for interconnecting facilities

This document defines specific practices required for interconnecting customer electric service facilities in voltages from 12 kV to 138 kV to the utility system. It is not intended to provide guidance about connecting or interconnecting customer-owned generation. For customer-owned generation, please see “Interconnection Requirements for Generators”.

For all customers who are:

  • Requesting a new service connection at 12 kV
  • Planning for service upgrades or replacements at 12 kV
