Billing Update

You may have received multiple bills in a short period of time.
We can explain.

Earlier this year, we experienced an issue that prevented our billing system from accessing meter data. This issue was not related to our meters, which continued to record and communicate usage accurately. However, as a result of this issue, some bills were delayed and not sent out on their normal schedule.

We fixed the issue and have taken steps to prevent it from occurring in the future.

What can you expect?

We’ll be sending any delayed bills from the oldest billing period to current. Once you’re billed current, all future bills will be issued at the normal time.

Because of this, you may receive multiple bills within a short period of time with due dates close together (like in the examples below).

Billing period: January 4 – February 2, 2023
Amount due: $276.00

Amount Due Example 1

Billing period: February 2 – March 6, 2023
Amount due: $545.73 (including previous balance of $276)

Amount Due Example 2

Billing period: March 6 – April 4, 2023
Amount due: $790.73 (including previous cumulative balance of $545.73)

Amount Due Example 3

Billing period: April 4 – May 4, 2023
Amount due: $1,035.73 (including previous cumulative balance of $790.73)

Amount Due Example 4

Please note: The bill with the most recent bill due date (6/13/23 in the example above) includes the total amount due, combining each monthly charge into one cumulative total.
