In our commitment to identify the right suppliers to support our operations while connecting with our local communities, as well as comply with applicable laws, we are regularly engaged in identifying qualified businesses through our supplier engagement program. These efforts include connections with various national and local organizations including (but not limited to) those supporting Veteran, Service Disabled Veteran, Disabled, woman, minority, LGBTQIA+, Small and Disadvantaged business owners. Our supplier engagement team hosts and participates in networking and match making events with a wide variety of suppliers who can provide high quality competitively priced goods and services to support the company’s procurement strategies.
To the extent required by law, PPL requires all Suppliers to provide monthly reports of their spend with their diverse suppliers (PPL Tier II Indirect spend) so the information can be aggregated in various reports required by federal, state, and/or local law.
