LIHEAP, the federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, offers grants to help customers pay their heating bills. Grants are applied directly to your bill and do not need to be paid back.

LIHEAP will open and accept applications beginning on November 4, 2024.
Homeowners and renters are eligible to apply for up to $2,000 toward their heating bills.
You don’t need a past due balance to qualify for a cash grant.
Crisis grants can help avoid a shut-off or heating emergency.
Last winter, LIHEAP helped our customers with more than $17 million in grants.
