How and Where to Charge Your EV

When you purchase an electric vehicle, the most important thing you’ll need to know is how and where you can charge it up.

All EVs and Plug-ins come with built-in charging stations that can charge on a standard 120-volt outlet. However, these level 1 charging stations can take a long time to charge a full battery.

To charge your vehicle at your home or business more quickly, you may want to upgrade to a level 2 or level 3 charging station. These upgrades may require additional equipment or service upgrades by a licensed electrician, as well as upgrades to PPL’s distribution system.
